Stopping at the red light on the way to the grocery store, I saw a guy riding a bicycle on the side walk coming our way with some groceries on his bike. He was probably in his late fifties and wearing a blue shirt. What drew my attention was his beard, lots of it around his mouth especially the chin and it was all white.
I was just thinking that his beard reminded me of Karl Marx when Evan suddenly said:
“Look! Santa Claus!” He pointed to the guy.
“He is not Santa Claus. Is he wearing red?” I asked.
“He is Santa Claus.” Evan insisted.
“Maybe he is one of Santa Claus’ helpers.” Olivia said.
“Why you think he is Santa’s helper?” I asked.
“Because of his beard.” She answered.
“Not everyone with big beard like that is Santa’s helper. What if daddy grows a beard like that, do you think daddy is Santa’s helper?”
“Yeah, if only the beard is white.”
Well, looks like daddy has to wait for a long time to be Santa’s helperJ.
