A day in Seattle

I want to record this 'unusual' experience - an experience you only can imagine from a movie or a novel, but it happened to me.
Last Friday was the last day I was staying in Portland. After taking care of my new tenants (Alan and Julie), I headed toward shuttle bus. I arrived Sunset Transit Center at 9:30am. I got onto the train knowing that I had enough time to catch 11:48am flight to SJ. Shortly, I realized I lost my cell phone and was pretty sure it was left on the shuttle bus. I got off the train and headed back to the shuttle station. Fortunately, 10 minutes later, I saw the same shuttle and found my phone. Then I took the next Max. This time, I did not realize that I forgot my Chinese handwritings until I reached downtown area. I was soooo pissed and upset knew consciously there was something wrong that morning. I called John asking for a favor - driving me back to the shuttle bus. He kindly offered help. Also luckily, I saw my handwritings at where I left them. At that time, it already passed 10:30am. John wanted to spend sometime together since we had not got chance to do so for a long time. Although I wanted to go to the airport more than anything else, but I could not say no to him after his help and knowing he has been frustrated by his situation. So I spent about 2~3 hours with him.
When he dropped me at the airport, it was already 1:30pm. I checked in my luggage and bought myself a cup of coffee since I will have to spend another 3 hours at PDX, I was planning to work. Then I got John (from Seattle)'s VM and email checking with me. I called him back just to say hi. John suggested me to go to Seattle and spend the next day on boat with him and his friends. He also offered to buy me flight ticket. I did not have any appointment in the bay area the coming weekend so I said 'why not'. I pulled my luggage and got into the next flight to Seattle in an hour.
John's SEA office, Corvette race, shopping, boat, friends and swimming before the water got cold. really nice.
