Nebraska Service Center 公布有关Priority Date的Guidance By: Beth Robertie, Esq. 最近Nebraska Service Center (NSC) 对I-485排期到(Retrogressed I-485 case has become current) 的申请提供了一些指引信息。如果申请人的优先日期已经排到(Priority date is now current) ,NSC建议申请人应耐心等待下一步程序。以下请看来自NSC的信息: “We ask that you take no action in this scenario. The NSC is tracking all retrogressed EB I-485s (including dependents) based on classification, country of chargeability and priority date. As fingerprint checks approach expiration, we schedule applicants for reprinting. When the visa bulletin comes out, we pull those cases that become “ripe” at the beginning of the following month and start working on them. Notification correspondence will actually slow processing, so we ask that you abstain.” While this guidance does not necessarily apply to all of the service centers uniformly, it is a safe assumption that all four service centers share the opinion that processing is only slowed by constant and repeated inquiries regarding case status. If you priority date is now current or soon will be, please keep this in mind and remain patient.
