春寒过后的阳光,仿佛总是被赋予了某种使命。

         我看着它在泥土里跳动,在叶子的背面斑驳,在指间舞蹈,

         想起了 E. E. Cummings 的那句“春天像一只莫须有的手”。

         此刻阳光倒像只莫须有的手,伸出手去是握不住的,却感受得到它的温暖抚过。


 

Spring is like a perhaps hand
(which comes carefully
out of Nowhere)

春天像一只莫须有的手
(从虚无飘渺之乡
缓步而来)


 

arranging
a window, into which people look


开辟了一扇窗户,人们从那儿向里面瞧


 

(while people stare
arranging and changing placing
carefully there a strange
thing and a known thing here)

(当人们注视着
小心安排和改变环境
这儿发生了一件新奇的事
和一件熟悉的事)


 

and changing everything carefully

而且周详地使万物更新


 

spring is like a perhaps
Hand in a window

春天像一扇窗户里的
一只莫须有的手


 

(carefully to
and fro moving New and
Old things,

(小心地
周而复始地推动
新陈代谢


 

while people stare carefully
moving a perhaps
fraction of flower here placing
an inch of air there)

当人们小心注视
在这儿移动一小片花瓣
在那儿吹起微风)


 

and without breaking anything.

而且没有损害任何事物。
