耶路撒冷(Jerusalem)

今年正月十五的月亮，我是在耶路撒冷老城(Old City)的大马士革门
(Damascus Gate)下看到的。几千年的冲突和血腥，使得夜空下的明月
显得凄惨和悲凉。

耶路撒冷是三大宗教的圣地。东边的老城(Old City)方圆不足一平方公里。
象紫禁城一样有城墙圈卫。集中了犹太，基督和伊斯兰的圣中之圣：

犹太教的哭墙(Wailing Wall),
基督教的圣墓大教堂(Holy Sepulchre),
伊斯兰教的金顶清真寺(Dome of the Rock).

这三个“圣中之圣”又都集中在老城最东边约300米宽400米长的方形
圣殿山(Temple Mount)上。

犹太人是值得同情的。他们来得最早。建起了圣殿。却一次次地被征服，
驱逐和毁殿。只剩下一堵西墙。犹太人来此哭悼过去，西墙便成了哭墙。

阿拉伯人和巴勒斯坦人来得最晚。他们的清真寺建得也晚。所以保存得
最好。耶路撒冷的金顶清真寺(Dome of the Rock)其实只是他们的第三圣地：
默罕莫德升天之地。另两个圣地都在沙特阿拉伯的麦加(Makkah)。

基督教的圣墓大教堂(Holy Sepulchre)最复杂。至今有五个教派共同拥有。
各自占据教堂内之一角来朝拜。

耶路撒冷老城南边的锡安门(Zion Gate)外是"最后的晚餐"发生地
(Room of the Last Supper)。

耶路撒冷老城以东是著名的橄榄山(Mount of Olives)。那里有耶稣被犹大出
卖抓走的橄榄园(Garden of Gethsemane)以及耶稣母亲Mary的墓(Tomb of Mary)。

耶稣和母亲告别后，罗马士兵押着他入耶路撒冷老城，走完最后的路。
即著名的Via Dolorosa大街。
