Chinese Roast pork, Fried Tofu with mix vegetable (东北红烧肉,素菜炒炸豆腐)

学做中国菜。东北红烧肉,素菜炒豆腐。
看大家做红烧肉谗得无法形容,心里好急,也不会做。赶个鸭子吧,上个架。请大家千万别笑我。我不会做中国菜。
First time making Chinese Roast Pork. Really don't know where to start. I don't think I have all the ingredients. All I have are green onions from the garden and Chinese five spices. Will see how it tasts like.

Here is the meat:




Cut 2x3 inch cube:


Braise them in with oil and sugar. Add soy sauce at the end.


Add some water and green onion.



Cover the lid and bake in 350F oven. 放烤箱较方便。不用我看着。


1.5 hrs later. Be honest, pretty nervus to open the lid because I didn't know what it would look like.......


Looks good. It is what I expected. Add salt to season and some green onion on the top.





Mom alway says that this type of Tofu is better for the health than the traditional type of Tofu. 老妈说这种内脂豆腐较健康。


It is very tender.



Cut slides and pan fry with a little oil. You'd better use non-stick pan for this product.



Turn over after 4 or 5 minutes. Make sure both side are golden brown.

手艺不错,这两菜都挺诱人的。猜你家老公可能是美国人,不知他是否喜欢红烧肉,因为里面有肥肉。虽然我也喜欢这道菜,可我老公一点儿肥肉不吃,所以我也没给他做过。
