Last Saturday, we went for skiing. This is the first weekend the ski facilities open. There is some snow in those days, but not so thick for skiing, snow surfing or snow sliding. I heard that the ski resort makes snow manually. I could not figure out how they make them.
We went to skiing place at about 4:00pm with friends. We spent about 1.5 hour driving. This is the first time I go for skiing, My friends have been there many times before, so I just follow their car. I slept only about 3 hours the night before because I had a very good conversion with a friend. I was ok at first, however, after about half an hour, I could not maintain total conscientious while driving. I drove with my eye half open and half closed. Sometime my mind went away a second or so. I almost got an accident when there is a sharp turn. Thank god, I finally got to the destination without troubles.
We bought the tickets and rented skiing equipment. I helped Amy to put her stuff at first and I put on mine after that. Surprisingly, Amy went to the lifting cart directly and got on it by herself before me!! I was so afraid of that because there is not safety bar in that cart. However, she landed safely and started to ski. I was behide her. I did not get off the cart well when I reached the top and almost went down with the cart. I went down after the operator stopped the cart.
I never skied before, neither did Amy. However, both of us can skate well. Amy does not fear at all. She can ski naturally, amazing. I can ski; however, I do not know how to slow down. I fell down many times, probably 30 times until I learned skiing smoothly. It is fun and exciting.
