It's your first day on the job with your new employer. You are excited about your new position and you have many questions about what to do and how to do it. You want to know more about the company and how you can fit in. These are the expectations most new employees have when going into their new employee orientation program. To design a course that gives new employees the information they need to be immediately successful on the job, follow these tips: Show new employees how their jobs contribute to the vision and mission of the company. Clearly articulate the values and expectations that new employees must strive to reach. Give new employees a chance to meet key personnel and network with each other. Distribute an Employee Handbook outlining the key policies and procedures they need to know. Work on creating a new employee orientation program this week!
