Both Andrew and Daniel love to eat oriental instant noodle (or what we called “Fang Bian Mian” in Chinese). Among all food, they rank it on the very top of the list for several years up to date. It is not surprising that they both demanded to have some when I cooked it for myself so that I did not need to wait a long time to have warm food after missing the regular lunch hour.
Half way into finishing their portion, Daniel said using a low and serious tone, “You can’t run, AND, you can’t hide, spaghetti.” We can’t help laughing. Daniel explained that he took the lines from a TV show, “You can’t run, BUT you can hide”. What an interesting twist! Andrew even has a more funny one: “You can’t run, BUTT.” Pointing to his butt, and continued “You can hide!”.
