Wow, just wow! Go Dirk!
The way Wade attacks the basket was just a pure beauty to watch in the first half. Kidd showed his age and Terry showed he\'s still the same defensive liability and breaks down mentally at crucial moments. The Heat had nobody but themselves to blame.
This game was so done, and my prediction of Mavs in 6 just looks silly at the 5 mins mark in the 4th quarter. Dirk couldn\'t get it going early on. But man, Chandler really came out with vengeance from last loss. He more than made up the poor showing of last game. He had his hands on every single rebound. Marion just found the magic pill to turn him back 5 years. Man, I haven\'t seen him playing that actively that well in, god knows for how long. He somewhat kept the Mavs in the game.
Dirk was piss-poor at the defensive end in the first half. He really wants the ring this year, and he started to block out and fight for rebounds in the 2nd half. Still, LeBron and Wade penetration were too much for Dallas to handle. But they choked, what a choke job, by LeBron and Bosh, to a much less extend of Wade. No need to say, that was an epic comeback from Dallas. Dirk was confident and clutch. Terry\'s mental breakdown almost cost them the game again. But the cold-blooded Dirk just got it done.
It was a coach failure of Miami Heat in the last possession. Put Bosh on Dirk without help, AND more importantly, they had a foul to give!
This was a gift from the Heat, and Mavs took it in an exciting fashion in the last 5 minutes. But the problem maybe lies earlier. It was too much Wade and LeBron 2-man show in the first half. As super stars, you can and you are supposed to close the games. That\'s why it\'s important to get your supporting cast going early on. When the game is on the line, you can\'t expect multiple role players to step up from totally cold to super hot.
This is what that finals are supposed to be!
BTW, nobody talked about Canucks\' lone goal when there was only 18.6 seconds left, in last night\'s Stanley Cup game 1?
