It has been some week of sports in Feb
Not just the Superbowl frenzy won by NYG's sitdown
but also game after game NCAA bastketball
upsets, surprises, none short of Duke & NC rivalries's
climax: Austin River's last second three pointer to beat NC
Explosive 38 points from Jeremy Lin at NY Knicks
in front of Kobe Bryant burst right into the world of sports
Sat at Pebble Beach, none other than Tiger and Phil
inched to the top of leadboard
Now comes Sunday's showdown between them
with big help of Charlies Wi blew up 3 shot lead
in the first few holes and let the duel jump straight in
...eagerly watching
(sadly due to messed up timing of CBS and Golf Channel switching coverage
did not see how Phil made the eagle put and how Tiger made the birdie
and how Tiger slipped 7 and 8 with consecutive bogeys)
Oh my, Tiger birdied from a bunker shot at 11th
and guess what, Phil grinded teeth and fist-pounded for that 35 feet downhill par putt
Tiger nearly putted in from 60' and Phil second shot to 2 feet for birdie at 13
Another grinding par putt really sealed the deal at 15
Just one of super performance to remember for long time to treasure
On the course his grandpa caddied on
Finest Valentine's gift for her wife, at 41 years old for the 40th win

Loads of chill ran through the spine in the coldest Sat night this winter
(off to work overnight in the office)
they also came from my own 84/86 for personal best two rounds
of golf at one of my homecourses in 3.5 hours on Friday
stretches of clutch par putts, spiced with a two-feet birdie putt
result of a 190 yards with 3 wood uphill
many lucky fringe putts to get them in the par range
quite a few 75-yarder pitch and stop to know the ball close
in the five over front 9 of second round

touches of warmth actually came from  a few slowmo
from dogs playing alongside the Pebble Beach
a sand splashing hard break right before a stick
a twisting frisby right before it caught by the mouths
