On Thursday night after I picked up the kids from school, Evan said: "Mom, I want to go to Walmart." What? Again? We just went there the past weekend. I have been getting tired of him asking about this almost every other day now. He recently hooked up to these Lego spinners and always asked to go to Walmart or Target to take a look at them or really to buy more.
"No, Evan. We are not going to Walmart today!" I told him.
"I want to go to Walmart to make more money so I can buy more spinners." He said.
"What? Making money by going to Walmart? That totally doesn't make sense. "I was confused.
"Well, Daddy said when he was young, Granna took them to Walmart every week and she would give each of the kid a dollar to buy whatever they want. Daddy said he would do the same thing with us. Since I only get paid 50 cents vacuuming the floor, I make more money just by going to Walmart. So I want to go to Walmart as many times as I can so I can make more money to buy the spinners I want." Evan explained in detail and I just burst into laughter. That's a very funny way of thinking J.
