June 9, Sunday 2013
We went to strawberry pick-up this Sunday. It is on a farm, privately owned. We were all surprised by the strawberry plant. It was low on the ground, with its fruit hidding inside the bushes. We brought the easter egg pick-up basket with us, and collected 5 pounds. There were few people, most Chinese. Later on in the afternoon, more people were coming.
Along the road, there were wheat on the other side. That was my first time to see wheat field in the US, since corn field is more popular. I think it was Keke's first time to see the wheat too. I picked up two samples for Keke to observe
On our way back, Keke begun to eat the strawberry in the back of the car, though they were not being cleaned yet. We finished almost all of them in the night.
