【劇情簡介】1945年夏，國軍將軍雷義方（黃曉明飾）在平原戰場率兵大敗日軍。國軍通訊兵佟大慶（佟大為飾）俘獲了臺灣籍日軍軍醫嚴澤坤（金城武飾）。日軍投降之後，三人各行其道。雷義方回到了上海，認識了豪門千金周蘊
芬（宋慧喬飾）。兩人一見鐘情，不久成婚。但隨即，內戰爆發了。
嚴澤坤在抗戰後回到臺灣，卻發現曾經的戀人日本女孩雅子（長澤雅美飾）已經被遣返回日本。佟大慶則愛上了白天做護士照顧傷兵，晚上在街頭招客的妓女於真（章子怡飾），兩人原本各取所需照了張“結婚照”，沒想到真的成了一對苦戀的情侶。
