New Driver License and ID Card Requirements Starting October 2020
You will need a Travel ID endorsement to use your Driver License or Identification Card at TSA security checkpoints as well as access restricted areas in federal facilities, nuclear power plants and military facilities.
A variety of documents other than a driver license are permissible at TSA checkpoints. For information on acceptable identification, please visit the TSA website.
Note: Rules for international travel are unchanged and you will still need a valid passport or equivalent to travel outside the United States.
