Miral Askar it’s eye opening but also horrifying. The way some of the soldiers were telling their stories with so much ease, even laughing is telling of what they believed in then, and what they believe in now.
Even one of them stopped telling further because it would become scandal issue. They're only telling 1% what happened at that time to keep themselves safe. There will be a lot except it. They are hiding much to keep them safe from it. There will be many horrible scenes over there regarding many things at that time.
Thanks for this history lesson. I've got a Jewish college student in my DM asking me for guidance. Sharing this.

Michele Simon, JD, MPH I’m learning so much myself. Thanks Michele
Michele Simon, JD, MPH Please ask them to watch this documentary. Yehia put together a super great summary, but I believe seeing real testimonies would be helpful.
The documentary is by an Israeli Filmmaker, which makes it unbiased. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7k3sioKVTI&pp=ygUYdGFudHVyYSBkb2N1bWVudGFyeSBmaWxt.
There's also another documentary on Netflix, called "Born in Gaza"
There are also great Jewish American historians and political scientists who talk about the ongoing struggle:
Norman Finkelstein
Ilan pappe

Ammar Khan it’s not an easy one to watch
Hello Ammar,
Although the Tantura documentary reveals a great deal of what happened back in 1948, I believe its target audience are the Israelis who do not know the truth behind the establishment of their state. As we, Arabs, know it by heart, the documentary doesn’t say much more than what we already are grounded in.
Instead, take a look at this list of documentaries and share with whom it may concern.

Fast forward to November 4, 1995
Remember this date??
This is the date when 3 shots were fired into the back of a Noble Peace Prize winner Israel Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin by an Israeli far-right Zionist extremist Yigal Amir.
This is the date when Israel's own killed and rejected the last attempt at Peace for Israel and Palestine and the subsequent ruling Isareli Governments (Lakud-Benjamin Netanyahu-current PM) chose "WAR" instead.
This relates to the Peace deal (The Oslo Accords) that was brokered by US president Clinton between PLO Chairman Yasir Arafat and Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin+FM Shimon Peres.
This was 28 years ago and here we are still dealing with that Israeli choice of "WAR" instead of Peace.
Trying to achieve real Peace with War have never worked and never will, that is to say if achieving Peace is really the end goal and not
just annihilate humanity/commit genocide to take over and occupy land.
I have 2 famous quotes to share:
"The most effective way to destroy people is to obliterate their own understanding of their history"
-George Orwell-
"History is not the past, it is the present. We carry our history with us. We are our history. If we pretend otherwise, we literally are criminals"
-James Baldwin-

Just another pro-geneocide troll !!
When the British mandate expired on May 1948, Zionists declared the state of Israel. At that time, what is now Israel was 70% Arabs and 30% Jews. Today, Israel is 20% Arabs and 80% Jews. How did that happen? Genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement.
Between 1947 and 1949, Zionist militants destroyed at least 530 towns and villages. They killed about 15,000 and 750,000 were forcefully displaced. In the process, many horrible massacres happened.
Those included:
- Al-Khisas on December 18, 1947
- Baldat Al-Sheikh on December 31, 1947
- Sa’sa’ on February 14, 1948
- Deir Yassin on April 9, 1948
- Nasir Al-Din on April 12, 1948
- Al-Abbasiya on May 4, 1948
- Abu Shusha between May 9-12, 1948
- Lyyda between July 9-18, 1948
One of those massacres is the massacre of Tantura, on 22nd and 23rd of May, 1948. This massacre was carried out by the Alexandroni Brigade, which is now part of IOF. In 2022, an Israeli documentary was released, created by Alon Schwartz. It includes horrifying testemonials for Alexandroni soldiers about what happened. They include:
- Putting Palestinian villagers in barrels and shooting them
- Putting men in cages and rounding them by barbed wires then shooting them
- Incenirating them with flame throwers
- Throwing a grenade inside a school with people sheltering inside
- Raping a woman and killing her uncle who stood up for her
- Rounding all the dead on donkey pulled carts and burying them in mass graves
And so much more..
"Most Israelis don't know what happened in 1948. Most Israelis believe the naive story that the Palestinians ran away in 1948 by themselves ... because they were told by their leaders to do so," Schwarz said.
"They don't know that the Israeli army [Zionist militias] went into village after village and drove the people out, sometimes committing war crimes, like the massacre in Tantura. It's not taught in school."
What happened in 1948, is happening now in Gaza. History is repeating itself.
Zionists are doing what they know best - genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement
