Molly Ringwald//For Keeps

@1:31:11 Love is all about sticking around, over ups @& downs of life. Stan doesn't leave when sth bad happens.

In "For Keeps," Molly Ringwald's character faces the daunting reality of teenage pregnancy with her boyfriend, played by Randall Batinkoff. Amidst the challenges and uncertainties they encounter, their love is tested by the ups and downs of life. To elaborate on the idea that "love is about sticking around even through the ups and downs of life," we can examine how their relationship evolves throughout the film.

Initially, their relationship might have been characterized by the excitement and passion of young love. However, the unexpected pregnancy introduces a plethora of challenges, including familial discord and financial strain. Despite these obstacles, Molly Ringwald's character and Batinkoff's character are determined to make it work as parents.

Their commitment to each other is tested as they navigate the complexities of parenthood at such a young age. They experience moments of joy and bonding as they welcome their child into the world, but they also face moments of doubt and fear about their ability to provide for their family.

Throughout these trials, their love is demonstrated through their perseverance and willingness to support each other, even when things seem bleak. They learn to lean on each other for strength and encouragement, understanding that love isn't just about the easy times but also about weathering the storms together.

By the end of the film, their journey may not have been easy, but it's evident that their love has deepened and matured through the challenges they've faced. They come to understand that true love is about sticking around even when life throws curveballs, and it's this steadfast commitment that ultimately sustains their relationship.

I love how Stan is towards Darcy. Randall Batinkoff (Stan) does such a great job acting.
When someone truly loves you, they'll do whatever it takes to make it work. Thanks for uploading this movie it reminded me of what true love is.
I'm 58. I've never heard of this movie. It was so interesting, how her mom pushed for the abortion. What a twist. This movie has a bunch of those. I loved when Stan pushed his dad into the x-mess tree. Them storming out and figuring out how to live together was so sweet and heartwarming.

I am a very easygoing understanding, real mom. Not saying I wouldn't have an issue if my teenager came home pregnant, in today's world. But something about this movie shows exactly the Simplicity of just pure love. You don't need $100,000 wedding, pricey dress, boojy zip code, or electric car.. the two things we need most in life are the two things that nobody in this world can buy and that is love&time?
