CLIP DESCRIPTION: Frank (Al Pacino) teaches the beautiful and charming Donna (Gabrielle Anwar) how to dance the tango.FILM DESCRIPTION: Driven by an extravagant, tour-de-force performance by Al Pacino, Scent of a Woman is the story of Frank Slade (Pacino), a blind, retired army colonel who hires Charlie Simms (Chris O'Donnell), a poor college student on the verge of expulsion, to take care of him over Thanksgiving weekend. At the beginning of the weekend, Frank takes Charlie to New York, where he reveals to the student that he intends to visit his family, have a few terrific meals, sleep with a beautiful woman, and, finally, commit suicide.
The film follows the mis-matched pair over the course of the weekend as they learn about life through their series of adventures. Though the story is a little contrived and predictable, it pulls all the right strings, thanks to O'Donnell's sympathetic supporting role and Pacino's powerful lead performance, for which he won his first Academy Award.
Scent of a Woman is based on the 1975 Italian film Profumo Di Donna.

"Dancing a tango with Al Pacino is something I am yet to recover from. My little toe has healed. Thank you. But my heart... You seem pretty confident up there, twisting and dipping, clasping and grasping of my light supple teenage body. And just said you couldn't even see me."

Gabrielle Anwar explained that she went through "a yearlong audition process that ultimately resulted in two days of work and became just seven minutes of the film." But what an absolutely magical seven minutes! She captured the shyness, nervousness, growing confidence, excitement, chemistry, and fun perfectly. She also never rehearsed with Pacino, by his design. Making it very spontaneous. You can see her literally getting breathless and just uncontrollably smiling and laughing by Pacino's leading.
This performance was immortal. She melted the screen with her combination of innocence and sensuality, not to mention a fabulous dance scene. Hollywood magic right there.
Gabrielle Anwar at that time was very stunning because she was already able to serve the acting of a legendary actor like Al Pacino. Apart from her beautiful figure, her acting has fascinated viewers. I personally watched this movie many times without getting bored. SCENT OF A WOMAN
I first saw Gabrielle Anwar in a movie called "Wild Hearts Cannot Be Broken" when I was a kid. I loved the movie and have been a fan of hers ever since.
