树荫照水爱晴柔。

小荷才露尖尖角，

早有蜻蜓立上头。

The mute fountain just lets its stream trickle away,

The trees shade the pond and cosy up this fine day.

As a cute baby lotus lifts its pointed pate,

A dragonfly alights on it without delay.
