Three's company

Not long after getting into this country, I began to watch “Three’s Company”, a very funny comedy show. I have watched its replays of every episode for countless times over the past 16 years. I have been a big fan of Jack Tripper, starred by John Ritter whose physical comedy has not been matched up by anyone yet. I like his hair style, median long, neatly trimmed, well-shaped, parting in the middle, a style I have seen many actors wore in the show and movies of 70’s and 80’s. I also like his voice, clear and charming. I think he was one of the smartest, funniest, handsomest, sexiest actors and comedians, ever. It saddened me when I heard the news of his sudden death almost 2 years ago. He was too funny to die. He was too young to die. He was gigantic. He was irreplaceable.

Recently a chill fact struck me, making me really wonder…, though I believe it was a coincidence. John Ritter died unexpectedly from a heart attack on his daughter’s birthday. My dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack on my sister’s birthday. Seeing a beloved one died is heartbroken already, and knowing the death occurred on another beloved one’s birthday is too much to bear.
