How to be a good guest RSVP within 48 hours so it doesn't look like U'r waiting for a better offer. Tell ur host if U have food allergies or are a vegetarian. Don't bring friends along that your host didn't invite. Arrive on time--never early. Instead of fresh flowers for ur hostess, try a potted plant that dosen't have to be trimed and put in water right away. Or have flowers sent B4 you arrive or the next day. If you bring a bottle of wine, don't expect it to be opened while you're there: it may not go with meal. Don't tell ur host you don't like the broccoli(it could be anything)they 're serving-eat at least a forkful. Mingle with other guests and participate in the conversation. Resist the temptation to look in your host's medicine cabinet. Offer to help. If U area weekend guest, take your host out for dinner, and B4 U leave , clean up the bathroom, remove and fold your bed linens and make the rest of the bed. Call to thank your host the day after or send a handwritten note
