火鸡逃生记 (If I Were A
(注: 儿子在感恩节的作文, 略有修改)
I lived in a farm with a farmer and an angry dog. There was one more day until Thanksgiving. I stole the keys to my cage and I was free. I hid in the attic. Then I rifled through the box of disguises until I found a very good costume to disguise. But, when I was about to try it on, I heard footsteps and the farmer came to my cage to check if I was still there. After he went away, I came out of my cage again. When no one was looking, I cleaned up the mess I made.
It was getting dark, and I tried to get out of my cage again, but the key was hard to reach.
The farmer woke up today and nearly jumped up. Oh, no, today is Thanksgiving! I disguised myself. Then I asked him if I could go outside. The farmer said that I could go (outside). When he was cleaning the floor, I set a trap for the farmer and his dog. Then I ran away, painting myself yellow and camouflaging with the hay, and never came back to the farm.
