201 凸子日记：Iraq Study Group 和美国对外政策

The Iraq Study Group’s report issued a cold hard outlook over Iraq War.

The problems addressed was:

1)      Our country deserves a debate that prizes substance over rhetoric.

2)      Americans are dissatisfied not only in the situation in Iraq/>, but also in the state of American debate regarding Iraq/>/>

3)      Fundamental changes needed not only in Baghdad/>, but also in Washington/>/>.

4)      US/>/> foreign policy is doomed to a failure

5)      A 100-percenters (who insists Iraq/>/> war) is  a person you don’t want to be around.

6)      But the bipartisan group would not directly criticize Bush (during a war).

这个结果中最大的不期，就是它建议美国政府重新考虑其外交方面的政策方向。这在战时很少见。原因很简单，目前的美国国内对伊战存在严重分歧，而且希望改变的声音占大多数了。这与4年前布什政府靠爱国主义的口号所积攒起来的人气有明显区别。
