About disciplining cc.

after posting how i disciplined cc yesterday, i was pretty busy with her. sorry that i could respond to those who replied my post.

some of the mothers find me too harsh to a 14m old. well, i don't blame you because i forgot to mention that she has been attacking me and my lg for the past 2w. we always tell her that is not nice and it hurts but she didn't take that too seriously. she doesn't care whether we are sleeping or not, she simply grab our nose or ears. she even throw books into our face or eyes. she has very strong fingers and there causes some scratches on my lg's nose and ears.

i am also very sure she understands what is hurt and sayang. when she falls down or gets hurt, she will touch the area being hurt and ask for sayang from me. even after a week, she still remember which object hurt her and again ask for sayang.

no, i don't want her to cry.

i just want a lovely daughter who doesn't attack others. she doesn't know her action causes pain to others. it's my job to let her know.

after reading Crazydog's reply, i know my approach only tells cc that her action is wrong. i need to change my approach and teach her what is right as well. (thank you, crazydog for pointing my mistake to me).

sometimes, i can't help to wonder, among those 14m babies in qqbb, cc is the one being complained so often. is it because my parenting skill is too lousy or i lack of patient.
