我当时真的被气到了,但是不想当场翻脸。一吃完就结帐走人。回来的车上,男的还不shut up,问我你为什么选择这个医院,你有什么后悔么,我说,I got everything I wanted here, but everybody comes here for different things, if you don't know what you are, what you look for, i am not sure here will be a right place for you.
The behavior of the two candidates is very unprofessional and completely unacceptable. The way the male candidate asked the question only showed he lacked confidence of competing with his peers. With his attitude, there's no way he can face the challenge from thousands of very talented people from all over the world. Another important quality they lack is respect. If they don't understand that all relationships are based on mutual respect, they wouldn't be successful, no matter which profession they will choose.
Again, this has nothing to do with 城里人 or 乡下人, 纯粹是个人素质和修养的问题。LuoHua, you did the absolutely right thing to report it to your supervisor. We're with you.
I totally sympathize with you. I had a similar experience a couple of years ago when I had to take two exchange student out. They were both extremely rude. The first question the male student asked me when I greeted him was he wanted to know how old I was. And when I told him my age, both him and the female student gasped in disbelief, they both told me they can't believe how old I was. And they flirted with each other while in my car. The male student keep complaining about the route I was taking. And the perfume the female student is wearing is so strong that I had to open all four windows. An unpleasant experience indeed.
