This afternoon I started to work on my car - replacing serp belt, changing air conditioning compressor.

Looking down from above radiator.  After taking out serp belt, I noticed the idler having uneven worn. If not fixed, it'll damage belt causing a bigger bill. I'll go buy the idler from stealer on Monday (they are closed now).





After taking out of compressor, put the old one and new together to make sure they are having same size; so are belts:

Once I get the idler, I'll put everything in place. After that, I'll have a shop to flush a/c system ($50), then I'll do the followings myself: Add pag oil 8 oz into compressor, replace drier, connect all a/c hoses, vacuum the systme to greater than 29.3 inch Hg, and finally charge up R134. Total cost for this a/c make-over would be around $300.
