What should I do with the landlord?

My apartment was flooded for two weeks, and I have talked with the leasing office about compensation. I filed a complaint to their attoneyes, and tHey have promised to talk with me ,but it has been two months and I still haven\'t got any promise at all. I want to move out, and I don\'t know whether I should pay the last month rent. I have 12 month lease, need to give 60 day notice, but I has been waiting to get the compensation until I give them the notice. But now I just want to move out by the end of May.

Please advise
1. whether I should pay my last month rent.
2. will I be able to get any compensation for hte two weeks when my apartment was wet?
3. Once I move out, can I still pursue for the compensation?
