Second Day at Daycare

Cheryl did very well at daycare yesterday except for one diaper accident. She like this daycare and would like to visit it again. But when asked about how her nap time is, she said, "Dou Dou Ku Ya", why? "Dou Dou Bu Yong Gan". Oh, my little girl, you are the bravest girl in this world. I told her it is OK to cry, you missed Mom and Grandma, it is OK to cry a little bit. I always encourage her and she is indeed doing great.
Today, I stayed there for only 10 minutes. Before I left, she kept saying, no mom, no mom, but I didn't see her tears because I ran away fearing others saw my tears. Later on, I called the operator, she said, she cried a bit then play with Sandy. No matter how upset she is, I will tell her clearly Mom is leaving for now and will pick up her later, Mom loves her. So she won't feel being abondened. I believe her sense of security built by our daily routine smoothes out her transition from family care to daycare life. When I asked her if she would go to daycare tomorrow, she said YES. So she is still doing great. But today a bigger diaper accident occurred during her nap time. Sandy suggested she wear diaper back. I agreed but insisted her training Cheryl to do potty regularly. We went out after dinner and she went to washroom by herself upon return. It might be a sign that she is making progress on the potty project.
