纽约的冬天真的很冷, 在阴森的高楼之间寒风刺骨, 见不到一点太阳. 所有的人都缩在他们的军大叉儿里, 连我都给了一件, 至今我还保留着. 远远看上去甚是好看, 这使我不尽想起在中国曾时兴的一阵黄皮热. 谁要是拥有一件军大叉儿, 可是很了不起的, 尤其是女孩, 要是有一件女式的, 恨不得天天出去臭美. 好像是文艺兵先兴起来的. 反正那时候我们都有, 出国前好多人盯着我这件军大衣.
那时我们住在Long Island的Oyster Bay. 不是下雪就是下雨. 冯导还开玩笑说:我们住的"老挨沦,真他妈背".
