I took my 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl to eat out while my husband was out of town on business from last Monday to Thursday.
Just some thoughts on choosing resturants and what to /dobring with you for similiar occassions:
1. Restaurants can serve food quickly
2. Rather kid-friendly envirnoment and staff
3. Avoid high-end, and buffet (cos I can't spare a hand to grab food while holding on to the kids, or leave them behind at the table)
4. Have a small toy for them in case one finishes early than the other
5. Have plenty of wipes
6. Ask for additonal utensils/plates/bowel early and nicely
7. Pick up the big dropping from the floor before you take the kids out of their highchairs.
8. Thank the staff and tip generously
9. Don't forget to grab a bit here or there for yourself
So far, my kids have really enjoyed going to Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese restaurants, and California Pizza Kitchen.
