Ever since Aunt Shannon has won a sweepstake trip to Hawaii, Evan and Olivia have been very sensitive to sweepstake ads.

Forgot for what reason, I bought Evan dinner from Burger King one night a couple of weeks ago. There was an ad on the bag for winning $50,000 or $500,000 dollars and I forgot what it was for but it immediately drew Evan's attention.

After I told him that he should never get his hopes high on winning money like that as it is very very hard, he no longer asked about it. Me, however, out of curiosity, asked him how he would use the money if he wins $500,000 dollars.  I wanted to see how "big" he could think of. Evan has always lived in his own "happy land" and very rarely shown his maturity like Olivia does. I thought he would say he would buy tons of LEGO or transformers or toys he likes. But he said something that really surprised me.

"I will put the money in the bank and when I grow up, I will use it to buy a house and a car."

Wow! That was really some long term planning, buddy! I was so impressed! J
