I believe China should play a leading role now in the world, if not for the narrow-mindness of current generation of Chinese. Chinese culture from day one is to take whole world into account, not just China, not just Asia. And I think a lot of our Asian neighbors(Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, to some degree Japan) understands Chinese culture better than us Chinese, especially mainland Chinese. I think there are some geopolitical factors in recent conflicts China has with its neighbors, but there are also reasons in how Chinese people and Chinese government look at themselves in the world. We mainland Chinese need to do a lot of detoxing of years of education brainwashing, and relearn the authentic Chinese culture. Chinese culture sustains generations of Chinese, Koreans, Japanese and most Asian countries through difficult times and good time, and it belongs to whole Asia and world. It helps you in difficult times and it helps you also in good times. We should feel the shame as Korean for scandals you mentioned in your blog, and I would rather self reflecting than criticizing. Because the scandals are ours too, don't you think?
Don't you have better thing to do than badmouthing your neighbor? Every family has issue, do you think our country is free of degree fabrication, college entrance exam cheating? I am proud of being chinese because China created a Chinese culture for the WHOLE WORLD, and the every fact that Korean wants to claim the heritage of Chinese culture only shows the inclusiveness of this culture and greatness of it. I would recommend you to actually spend sometime to learn to be a REAL CHINESE who actually understands its CULTRUE
