An Ode to this Bus Tour
There once was a family named Ma
Who visited the city of Philadelphia
They wanted to play
But couldn’t get to stay
For they had to leave for the DC
The District of Columbia was nice
Since the parents were visiting twice
The Smithsonian Museum
Which looked a bit like a coliseum
Though the food was lacking in spice
Inside the Smithsonian the Ma’s went
(Or, you could say they were sent)
To get lots of info
Certainly by the bucketful
But in an hour they hardly made a dent
The next stop was to Capitol Hill
Which was definitely not run-of-the-mill
It looked like the White House
And not like a mouse
So the Ma’s took many pictures
The Ma’s traveled to a wax sculpture place
With sculptures of the President’s days
With life-like gaze
It was a very big maze
And the wax sculptures looked real
The final surprise was in the hotel
Which wasn’t a DC motel
It was in Virginia
A Marriot in the lea
Where there was a wonderful pool
