近在咫尺的对华人侮辱事件

九月二日在美东的纽瓦克（Newark) 机场发生了因为Alaska Airline 的一个工作人员对两位华人的种族歧视引起的机场疏散恐慌。详情请见下面的报道：

我家就在离Newark很近的地方，所以当时看到了机场疏散的报道，但不知事件起因。九月六日读了上面这篇事件经过，看到真正的原因竟是歧视华人，我非常气愤。在网上Google了一下后，发现美国其他媒体均未报道事件的起因。Alaska Airline的官方更未对当事人和Newark机场的乘客表示任何歉意。 平静下来之后，我给Alaska Airline 的 CEO Brad Tilden （[e-mail]）写了以下的email：

Subject： Racial Profiling at Alaska Airline

Dear Mr. Tilden,

I was extremely shocked to learn about Alaska Airline's treatment of two Asian Americans this week, as well as your lack of responsiveness on this issue. As of today, I do not see any tweet or public acknowledgement for a major and inexcusable racial profiling incident. I am myself an Asian American and have taken several flights on Alaska Airlines and Virgin America, and the thought that something like this could happen to me or my loved ones, with no apology or acknowledgement from the central headquarters, is appalling to me. I will no longer take flights on Alaska Airlines or Virgin America until you make a public apology, reimburse those victims involved, and reprimand the employee in question.

我的信是九月七日发出的，至今没有收到Tilden或是他的秘书的一字回信。我因而就想，这个事件的当事人如果不是两个中国人，而是黑人的话，情况会是怎样？

如果你看到这里和我一样愤愤不平，和我一样觉得中国人的尊严在我们心中至少应该和我们的孩子能上哪个大学一样重要的话，请给Brad Tilden 写一封emai表示你的不满吧。我不在意你将上面的email原文照抄。只有集体发声，我们的声音才能被听到！ 我已经在Twitter 上DM 了@AndrewYang, I am sure his voice can be heard much further than mine, if he cares about this issue at all, of course.
