是关于三个男人的一部暴力戏，贯穿历史，家庭，法律和政治，透过对话和血淋淋的场面可以冷眼或瞪眼看世态炎凉，尔虞我诈，即所谓天下熙熙皆为利往

Frank, 二战退伍老兵以开货运车谋生偶然的机会被黑手党看上成为冷血杀手，他专业，沉着，忠诚，滴水不漏，虽然一仆二主却不得罪任何人，却在一次次的杀人后让女儿疏远，等老了也得不到原谅，孤独晚年

Jimmy，仗着工会主席的权势一手遮天飞扬跋扈，目中无人，与政客为敌和手下交恶，终于死于自己最信任的人手里

Russell，老谋深算，教父般角色，以温和的外表把他的势力控制得天衣无缝。然而百密一疏，终有一天，他也落得锒铛入狱，中风离世。

所以不管个性张扬或沉默，不管地位显赫和卑微，人生如江湖，得过且过也好，沉沉浮浮也罢，怎么混也落得凄惨命运
