印度尼西亚老木雕:一段爱情传说

昨天在一家二手店购回一尊木雕,先以为是泰国菩萨,上网一开始查不到。后来终于查到答案,是印度尼西亚的木雕,雕工很细丶其形象也很特殊:是一对秀恩爱的神仙情侣。遗憾的是这件艺术品有点残缺,男孩头上的帽冠上缺了一个顶子(疑与女孩类似的羽毛)。但所用材质很好,用的是印尼特产木材乌木,在中国就可以称之为红木。

 

在网上所查到的故事，却又可溯源到印度。我对于这件艺术品有所理解,但对于查到的与此木雕有关的历史传说或宗教故事,真是莫辩真伪,只能考贝在下面,供网友们参考。或有懂此领域知识的网友,望不吝赐教(通过悄悄话？或另写博文)。谢谢!
