32.（组诗）蒙特利尔老城畅想之二：

兵器广场 (Place d’Armes)

---蒙城创立者麦森诺夫将军雕像观感

天边的白云

曾被三百多年前的战马撕碎

新大陆辽阔的地平线

曾被英法士兵的影子蚕食

历史 沿圣劳伦斯河

空下一段惨白的岁月

文明之花

无论多么高雅尊贵

一经鲜血浇灌

就让有毒的红罂粟更加妖冶

绽放并吐露咒语

伤痛可以折叠 记忆可以尘封

远去的创口依然渗血

土著少女头上的野花

依然在风中颤栗

将军啊 但愿你手中的战旗

能裹起阳光碎片的温暖

孵化和平鸽的哨音

但愿你手中的利剑

能劈开千年铁树

让其长出翠绿的橄榄

为蓝色星球上的生命

撑开一片绿荫

后记：蒙特利尔老城的兵器广场（Place d’Armes）被称为蒙特利尔老城的心脏，因为它是昔日蒙城发展并走向兴盛繁荣的中心。广场正中心矗立着蒙特利尔市的建立者保罗·舒默迪·麦森诺夫的雕像，用来纪念这位当年带领法国军队打败易洛魁人进攻的领袖。他身穿17世纪的军装，高举着一面旗帜，脚下环绕着几位当年与他一起奋斗的战友以及他的战斗对手如易洛魁人、印第安人的雕像。

这样为争夺一块土地而拼杀的双方同在一座纪念碑上被后人纪念，这在世界上还是不多见的。当然他们当年驱赶和屠杀当地土著印第安人的行为并不值得夸耀。

    广场的四周是圣母大教堂，蒙特利尔银行大厦，纽约人寿保险大厦等著名地标性建筑，都有数百年的历史。

The white clouds on the horizon

Were once torn apart by warhorses three centuries ago.

The vast horizon of the New World

Was once devoured by the shadows of English and French soldiers.

History, flowing along the St. Lawrence River,

Leaves behind a pale and hollowed-out era.

The flower of civilization,

No matter how noble or refined,

Once watered with blood,

Becomes a deadly red poppy,

Blooming with whispered curses.

Pain can be folded away, memory sealed in dust,

Yet distant wounds still seep with blood.

The wildflowers in a native girl’s hair

Still tremble in the bitter wind.

O General, may the battle flag in your hands

Gather the warmth of scattered sunlight

To nurture the call of the dove of peace.

May the sword you wield

Split open the thousand-year-old iron tree,

So it may sprout lush olive branches,

Casting a canopy of green over all life on Earth.
