(A master of caricature)

A Master of Caricatures
By Li Li
In September, the sky is high and clouds travel far,
A feather from a passing sacred bird
Suddenly falls into
The painting palette where your craftsmanship is worshipped.
You hang Eden’s red apples,
Altered by divine hands,
On the branches of autumn, heavy with ripeness.
At this moment, there is no need for the serpent’s temptation,
Young Adam and Eve
Are drunk with life, tender with death,
A heart in springtime, fluttering.
The wild elephant of the primeval forest
Dons the zebra stripes of the African plains,
Stirring a field of wind chimes.
Here, the primary colors lose harmony,
The golden ratio lowers its flag.
In truth, as long as hearts are connected,
Beauty need not follow any proportion.
