Recently bumped into this British writer called Peter Guttridge. Finished two of his Nick Marid "crime novels". Delightful. Satirical mysteries. Perfect summer readings!
Of the two I read, Two to Tango is better than No Laughing Matter which is the writer’s debut and it’s quite obvious that he hasn’t exactly figured out his style, or honed his crafts, back then yet.
Bought another of his book and should get it next week.
Also got the latest installment (the 7th) of the No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series. Only a couple of chapters in at this time.
Almost finished Oracle Bones. Good book but very, repeat very, DRY.
