There was something special tonight. I went to parliament hill, and watched a fantastic show, called “Sound and Light Show on Parliament Hill”. I was fancinated about the gigantic light and the sound effects.
Talking about this show, I should say a few words about the sound and light show in Christ church Cathedral in Montreal last year. The church Cathedral is so big, bigger than any church in Ottawa, I assume. That show used several white cloth hanging from the ceiling as background, and was about the church history, how they finally built the church.
Last night, the show uses Parliament hill main building as background, and project the show light on it, creating a fancy effect. The “background” was so huge, much larger than the one in church cathedral. But the light was still bright, you can read very well even far away. The whole show is about Canadian history, lasting 30 minutes. If you are interested, you can go to parliament hill before sep. 11th. They project the show, every night at 9:00pm and 10:00 pm since Aug. 8th.
