China's Great Wall Among 21 Finalists for New 7 Wonders

Some dude in Switzerland has decided it is time to update the 7 wonders of the world.

The last list was made 2200 years ago by the Greek philosopher, Philon...who hardly had seen the world.

Now, with the world at most people's fingertips, the world can vote on the new seven wonders.

China can boast that the Great Wall is among 21 finalists - chosen from among 19 million voters.

India can boast that the Taj Mahal is on the list.

There are rules to be included in the new list. The site for selection is www.new7wonders.com

Of course, there are trips and prizes and propaganda and all sorts of businesses that will spring up once the final seven are determined, eh?
