The Christians Must Do What is Good and Righteous, but Must Not Be Self-Justified

On one hand, a reminder is given to the Christians that they must through faith by relying on Christ, do what is good and righteous, and lead others to LORD. On the other hand, another reminder is that they must not be self-justified.

God is completely righteous and holy; and He is the Only One who is good. God is the source of all the goodness and righteousness. When men were separated from God because of the original sins, men were separated from the source of all the goodness. Therefore, there is no one righteous.

Because of the great love of God, He invented the salvation, and the precious blood of LORD Jesus Christ redeemed us. As long as one is willing to confess sins and repent, with the heart he believes and with the mouth he confesses the holy Name of LORD Jesus Christ, God will give him the chance to be reborn freely and the hope to enter eternal life. All thanks, praises, and glories be to God!

We Christians with rebirth should live in the way of the new life given by God -- the way of the life of LORD Jesus Christ: the way of being obedient, humble, and denying and giving up oneself. However, this is not natural. We need to crucify the selfish and evil desires together with pride of the old self on the cross, deny ourselves and carry the cross to follow LORD, and change the status of being holy to the practice of being holy in life. The way to be holy is the way of cross. We must trust in and rely on LORD and live in accordance with the Holy Spirit, so that to do what is good and righteous, and lead others to LORD. We must have good deeds and observe the laws; this is our duty. However, we must not be self-justified; and we must not credit the merits to ourselves. We must give all thanks, praises, and glories to God. Otherwise, we sin and leave the truth. We should know that we are the sinners who receive the grace. We should know that the reason that we do what is righteous is because we trust in and rely on God, is because we are connected with the source of true goodness -- God, and is because the life of LORD Jesus Christ takes the change of our life in us.

This message is inspired by the Holy Spirit. All thanks, praises, and glories be to God!
