reading list before 2006

"Red Tent", finally finished. Bible is so hard to read. "Red Tent" claims if bible were written by woman for woman, it would be written in Red Tent way.

Other good books I read in the past years and still remember their names are:
- Memory of Geisha,
- Captain Corelli's Mandolin
- East of the Mountains
- Behind the Scenes at the Museum
- Animal Dreams
These are for "cultured" people, but not too heavy to suffocate you.

Then there is always page turners:
- any Daniel Steel or John Grisham's books,
- Lone Star by Larry McMurtry. If you like 武打小说，you will like this one. But his other ones are not nearly as good.

None fiction:
- Bill Bryson's travel books. I read all his books and used to dream about becoming a travel writer like 杜欣欣
- Paul Theroux's travel books. I read most of his travel books.
