Pls advise: math course in summer school...

My son has just been accepted by high school for Honors Geometry course in its summer school -- he is 7th grade and taking Algebra 1 this school year. Once completing Honors Geometry in this summer, he will take Algebra 2 in 2008 - 2009\'s school year in high school.

Can anyone advise me if we should let him go ahead to take the summer school?

By the way, we\'re in Maryland.
