不知不觉中,来到这个遥远的国家已经五年。酸甜苦辣,体会甚多。唯有陪伴在身边的一双孩子,是我最大安慰与期盼。

More on Regular Decision This has been a very competitive year for freshmen admissions thus far. We received 4,400 applications for the Class of 2013. Including early action, we have offered admission to 669 students. We have offered an additional 623 students an opportunity to accept a place on our waiting list. The number of offers is about the same as last year, though we have offered more places to students on the waiting list. Given the increased strength of the applicant pool and the unknown impact that the current economic situation will have on students' college choices, we felt that the larger waiting list was appropriate.

All decisions for students living within the United States were mailed first class. Offers of admission for students with mailing addresses outside the United States have been sent via FedEx. Students not offered admission and students offered a place on the waiting list with a mailing address outside the United States will receive their hard copy decisions via airmail.

We know that there can be delays in the mail. For this reason, we will email an unofficial copy of your decision letter at approximately 4:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Saturday. The email will go to the address you provided on your application. Please be sure to check your spam filter to be sure that it is accepting emails from the caltech.edu domain. Please be in touch with us if there are questions that we can answer for you or your parents.
