Generally speaking, I have a good impression torward the European people.

Of course, my encounters with the European people are very limited. First, I've been living in Europe for six years. This period is not long enough to be able to judge one people. Second, I've visited only a dozen of European countries, most of them are Western European countries. Third, the main group of Europeans that I frequent until now are students, teachers, businessmen, businesswomen and civil servants. They cannot represent the whole European people. So, my following viewpoints are purelly personal, subjective based on my limited experience.

1. They, Europeans, like sports and keen to do physical exercices. But unlike to old Chinese people doing physical exercices in the parks during the early morning, they do it in the afternoon after the work, before the dinner.

2. generlaly speaking, they are kind, polite, considerate, ready to give a hand when it is necessary.

3. They can easily believe others and trust strangers or barely acquaintances.

4. A big proportion of Europeans are quite conservative, traditional, cherishing the basic Catholic values.

5. Many of them are not very ambitious. Their objectives in the life are not very high, very big.

6. They can easily feel very happy. A simple thing can make them feel happy and satisfying such as a sunny good weather, a coffee under the sunshine in an afternoon, a cold beer in the summer, and so on

7. They like to see movies! During the weekend, there is a long queue outside many cinemas.

Please tell us your personal impressions aout the European people.

Yesterday everning, I attended a reception in the hotel Bellevue in Bern. Please see the photos taken by me.
