Today ,Labor Department report showed that jobless claims fall . Best Buy results beat estimates. Qualcomm boosts guidance. However, Stocks give up early gains on renewed concern about Greece's debt problems.

Despite the rally's big fade, consumer discretionary and financial stocks were the strongest S&P 500 sectors.

Ben Bernanke, told Congress on Thursday, Record-low interest rates are still needed to rev up the economic recovery.
