Ages

Didn't set my foot out
Just cave in for leftovers
chips snacks etc
until my old neighbor rang the door bell
Chatted about thousands spent to clear out his old house
and thousands to haul away trash
Cleaned up thousands of old photos back in 40s
Wish I had shown the interest earlier
to get taste of those ages scenes
perhaps lot of forgotten stories
He went on about how lousy these days
to get retirement communities do some improvements by contractors
More they try to improve
more they damage and more repair
But give and take
he have seen enough for almost 80 years
