My name is Clara. I studied and lived in Nottingham University, Ningbo. During my stay in China, I met some good and bad things. Not everything can be perfect. Some things I don't like are completely due to cultural differences. China is a developing country with advanced hardware infrastructure. For tourists, these cities do have wide streets, rich trees and gardens. People are generally very polite. Even the county seat has skyscrapers. At night, men drink at roadside stalls, women dance in the square, young people play basketball on the well-lit field, and many people jog or play with their pets. Visitors may be amused by the sight that China is a peaceful and prosperous advanced country. But all you can see is the surface. When you go deep and participate in it, you will find that many people are really backward and conservative.
