How to Do Time Lapse Shooting
You need to have a tripod, camera, intervalometer (if your camera does not have a built-in interval timer shooting function, but has an external shutter release socket), external power supply, light source, softwares.

After setting up for Interval timer shooting, you could do you own things as long as you have enough room in your memory card and a juicy battery (if no external power supply attached.
